Our mission is to promote democratic governance in Myanmar, guided by the belief in building a just, democratic, and open society.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"614\" data-end=\"686\">In line with this vision and mission, Sandhi\u2019s main objectives are to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"1016\">\n<li data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"853\">\n<p data-start=\"689\" data-end=\"853\">Enhance the leadership capacity of individuals committed to nation-building, particularly in policy-making and in the monitoring and evaluation of public policies<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"854\" data-end=\"919\">\n<p data-start=\"856\" data-end=\"919\">Increase transparency and accountability in the public sector<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"920\" data-end=\"1016\">\n<p data-start=\"922\" data-end=\"1016\">Strengthen the participation of all key stakeholders in public affairs and major investments.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our main programs include <strong data-start=\"170\" data-end=\"182\">training<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"187\" data-end=\"199\">research<\/strong>. Sandhi provides training in organizational development (OD), local and economic governance, community development, and fiscal federalism, along with workshops and individual mentorship for civil society leaders and emerging leaders.
